The UM2082 Art Residency is a space on the Spanish coast, right by the ocean.
The idea for our residency came from something simple: a big family Sunday lunch, where everyone gathers, the conversation gets lively, and something new always comes out of it. We wanted to bring that same atmosphere into the art world. What if a painter and a digital artist ended up at the same Sunday table and decided to collaborate, with a musician sitting next to them, a producer across the table, and a businessman right there too, and they all plugged in and built something creative and commercially solid together? What if that kind of thing just kept happening? A house where artists work in their studios, where producers and curators dream up and deliver their projects, a place a businessperson can come to solve real problems with a bit of creative thinking, or somewhere to land if you're simply craving more meaning and want to be around people who make things.
The residency houses studios for painters, sculptors and digital artists, lecture halls, a gallery, and a living room where we all come together to talk and work side by side.

You're also welcome to drop by as a day guest with a ticket at the door, or join us on the guest programme for anywhere from 3 days to a month. On the guest programme, you'll visit the studios, talk with artists, curators and other creative people, and have access to workshops and events at the residency, plus the wider programme we run with our partners: art trips, sports activities, and more.
