Art ecosystem
We bring everyone in the art world together in one place: the tools, a space where ideas grow and networks that actually work
Hi there. We're the team behind UM2082, and we're building a home for you: whether you're an artist, someone searching for new meaning, an art manager, a creative, or a businessperson.
We decided to bring several things together under one roof: an art gallery, an IT platform for developing artists' careers and building art projects, art and music festivals, brand collaborations with artists, educational programmes for art managers and artists, and an art residency. That's how UM2082 came to be, and we're inviting you to become part of it.
We're a team of 15: art producers, marketers, artists, managers, tech people, finance people. UM started with a single exhibition, hosted by an artist in her own studio. One person joined her, and a project for running exhibitions was born. Three more joined, and a gallery took shape. As our team grew, so did the range of what we do. When we outgrew the gallery format, it became clear it was time to build a house big enough for all our projects, one that anyone could come and visit. The sections of this site mirror what we do, so pick whichever one speaks to you and join us.
We work worldwide, running exhibitions, collaborations and events wherever they take us. Physically, we're based in Spain, where we're opening an art residency right on the ocean, a space that anchors everything else we do. You're welcome to come and see it in person, or work with us online. You'll find all the details in the site's sections, and we'd love to hear from you by email or message.
